The Cost Of My Trip To Puerto Viejo

The total cost of my nine-day visit to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica was $998.80.

Puerto Viejo continues to get more expensive with each trip. In addition, the exchange rate went from 1 USD = 670 colones to 1 USD = 542 colones since the last time that I traveled there in May 2022.

I spent more at the grocery store than intended but we ended up eating at the house during most of our stay. We also rented bicycles which became our sole method for transport, aside from taking the occasional Tuk Tuk.

*As always, with my travel cost recaps, assume that each category is slightly increased due to the cash I withdrew from the ATM that is not easily trackable.
