Tamales Veganos

I found this place by accident and I’m so glad that I did. It’s a very small restaurant located near Bosque de Chapultepec. They had the best ice cream and the vegan tamales were amazing. There was a good variety offered for both.

The library covers almost 400,000 square feet and features an impressive collection of books, with over half a million volumes available to the public.
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú
Address: Av. Viaducto Rio de la Piedad Ciudad de los Deportes Magdalena Mixihuca, Puerta 8, Granjas México, 08400 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú opened in March 2019. It’s primarily used for baseball games and is home to the Diablos Rojos del Mexico, a professional baseball team that competes in the Mexican baseball league. The stadium has a seating capacity of 20,000. I was in town for the MLB Mexico Series and went to both games. The atmosphere was electric and so much fun.
Teotihuacán Day Trip
Address: Teotihuacán, Mexico
If you’re looking for a day trip, I suggest visiting Teotihuacán which is located just outside of the city. Built over 2,000 years ago, Teotihuacán was once home to a vast pre-Columbian civilization that thrived until its mysterious collapse in the 7th century. The city was dominated by two looming pyramids—the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon—which were thought to be built as tributes to the gods. You can take the bus, rent a car, hire a taxi for the day or book a tour to get there.
Nearby, there’s a restaurant called La Gruta that’s located inside of a cave. Reservations are not required and it’s a great place to grab lunch after exploring the pyramids.
