Busch Stadium opened in 2006 and is a hub of excitement and energy. Located next to the stadium, Ballpark Village is full of bars, restaurants, event spaces and more. Every year on Opening Day, the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales march around the stadium as part of a yearly tradition.

The stadium is conveniently located near public transport. Fans can take the MetroLink, the city's light rail system, which has a stop right outside the stadium. The stadium is within walking distance of several bus routes and also offers a shuttle service from certain parking lots.

Busch Stadium has a variety of food options to satisfy any fan's cravings. From traditional ballpark favorites like hot dogs and peanuts, to more unique offerings like toasted ravioli and St. Louis-style BBQ, there’s lots to choose from. Unfortunately, there’s not many plant-based options.

The atmosphere in the postseason was so much fun to witness. The energy of the crowd was with the team as they fought to advance to the next series. Everyone was locked in, paying attention to every pitch and each out. The ballpark is full of tradition and passion.

I visited during the Wild Card Series and watched Albert Pujols play in his last couple MLB games. The fans packed the stadium, hoping to watch the team advance to the NL Division Series. They showed up early, collected autographs and cheered on the team. When they didn’t win, they showed their respect and love to Albert Pujols. They love their players and team, and it was evident in how they showed up.

My visit to this ballpark was a work trip - my first MLB postseason on-site experience. But I was still able to get a great gauge on the atmosphere and the fans. While I found the city of St. Louis to be boring, Busch Stadium is anything but that. It’s fun, full of character and has a great atmosphere to catch a game.
