The Cost Of My Trip To Mexico City

The total cost of my two-week trip was $1,703.60.

I found Mexico City to be affordable across all areas — housing, food, transport, etc.

I stayed in two Airbnbs that were both located in Condesa. I rented private rooms vs. booking an entire apartment for myself since it was cheaper and I was still paying my LA rent.

While I’m typically the type to cook while traveling, I ended up eating out at restaurants for the entirety of my stay. I got a few groceries, but it was very minimal.

I used public transport and Uber equally. In addition to being cheaper, public transport ended up being quicker than taking an Uber at times.

My entertainment budget is on the larger side due to the cost of the MLB tickets. Other forms of entertainment were a lot more manageable, including a movie ticket to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
