Fenway Park, the oldest active stadium in MLB, was built in 1912 but has gone through renovations since. It’s located in Boston’s Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood and its 37-foot-2-inch-high wall in left field is famously known as the Green Monster.

Fenway Park is a short distance from several public transport stations. Depending on where you're coming from, you can take the subway (also known as the T) or a bus to get to the park. The Green Line (B, C, or D) or Orange Line can drop you off nearby and several bus routes also run near ballpark, including the #8, #19, #47, #57, and #60.

Fenway Park offers a range of food options, including ballpark staples and specialty items like apple fries. The Fenway Frank is a popular item but there are also vegetarian options including a portobello sandwich, pasta salad and veggie burgers.

Fenway Park has a great atmosphere. From fans touching the Green Monster for good luck to singing along to “Sweet Caroline,” you’re bound to have a great time when visiting this classic stadium.

The Red Sox have a reputation for being disliked, but I personally had a great time at the game. Perhaps I would have felt differently had my team been playing against Boston, but I felt everyone sitting around me was respectful and just there to have a good time.

If you want to visit one of the most classic baseball stadiums full of tradition, I definitely recommend heading to a game at Fenway Park. As much as I love the modern stadiums and all the shine they have, there’s nothing like a game at Fenway Park and watching baseballs soar over the Green Monster.
